Carol and her husband Andre joined Five Stones Church as members in 2019 after they moved to New Westminster from Recife, Brazil. Carol grew up serving in her father's church, working with kids, youth and other ministries, and started volunteering with Five Stones Kids' Church in early 2020 prior to the Covid-19 pandemic closing our services. In May 2021 she took over as Kids' Church Director, and then later that year joined as full-time staff, taking over the Family Ministry and helping with office and admin. Carol has a bachelor's degree from Pernambuco University (Brazil) in Business Administration, and a Post-baccalaureate Diploma in Data Analytics from Douglas College (New Westminster).

Since moving to the Vancouver area, Carol and her husband have taken up biking around the city to see the sights and get to know the area.

Carol is currently on maternity leave, having welcomed a new baby boy in July 2023. She will be returning in 2024. In the meantime, if you would like to reach out about anything to do with Kids' Church, you can email Maggie Costa at kidschurch@fivestoneschurch.org.
